The substrate is then heated in an oven and cured at over 390°F/190°C for several minutes while the powder is baked on. The product is then cooled down and is ready to use requiring no drying time unlike the wet painting process. The final powder coated product looks better, stands up better to the elements and lasts longer than a product painted with the conventional wet liquid paint application. .
